Sam Heikinen serves as director of the Office of International Student Programs (ISP) at Saint Francis University (SFU) in Loretto, Pennsylvania. The ISP includes an Intensive English Program and is responsible for the strategic international recruitment and admissions, retention, and global engagement at SFU. Mr. Heikinen previously served as the director of the Center for Global Engagement at Snow College and the Director of International Admissions at Saginaw Valley State University. Prior to his career in International Programs Mr. Heikinen served on the faculty of Changchun Institute of Technology in Changchun, China for five years where he learned Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Heikinen also served as a consultant for multiple international corporations in China.
