Christie G. Bierlein has been the Assistant Director of the Center for English Language and Culture for International Students (CELCIS) at Western Michigan University since 2011. Before that, she served at Lansing Community College including as a coordinator for the English Language and Culture Program and as an international education specialist. After moving to Kalamazoo, Michigan, she served on the board of Colleagues International, a volunteer-based citizen diplomacy organization for 2 years.
