Candace began her career in International Education working for the Institute for Shipboard Education/Semester at Sea in 2010. Currently serving as the Director of Enrollment Operations, she primarily works with student recruitment, CRM management, and email communications to confirmed participants. She is also the founder and Chair of Semester at Sea’s Diversity Advisory Committee. Candace earned her BA in Screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University.

Christopher Churma

Chris Churma has worked in the field of Education Abroad since 2002. He currently serves as Director of University & Education Abroad Relations at the Institute for Shipboard Education/Semester at Sea. In addition, Chris currently serves as the NAFSA Region II Chair and previously served as the Colorado State Representative to NAFSA from 2012-2014. Chris earned a MA in Educational Policy and Administration/International Education and Exchange from the University of Minnesota.
