Julie Baer is a Research Officer in the IIE Center for Academic Mobility Research and Impact at the Institute of International Education (IIE) in New York. She conducts research for the Open Doors® project, a large-scale annual survey of international educational exchange in the United States. Her experience includes analyzing trends in international academic mobility in U.S. higher education and using geospatial analysis to highlight trends in educational access. She holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
