Shannon Miner is the program coordinator for Engineering International Programs at Iowa State University serving over 9,500 students as well as staff, and faculty in the College. Her interest in international education began more than 20 years ago when she first studied abroad in Japan. As a PhD student in education, Shannon's research is related to institutional and programmatic influence on study abroad participation.

Kelly Berigan

Kelly Berigan is the Program Assistant II for Engineering International Programs at Iowa State University. Overall, Kelly has 10 years of experience in international education. First, Kelly served as an Advisor for The Walt Disney Company’s International College Program. She worked in the Oceania region and facilitated on-campus recruiting at universities and tafes around Australia and New Zealand. From there, Kelly spent 6 ½ years as a Study Abroad Advisor at East Tennessee State University. Finally, Kelly joined the team at Iowa State University in late 2015. In addition to her work experience, Kelly was awarded an International Education Administrators Fulbright Grant in 2015 for the Japan program.
