Ashton Troxel recently became a Texan after joining the International Admissions Team at Texas Tech University. Prior to moving to Texas, she studied International Education Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in beautiful Monterey, California. Originally from Missouri, Ashton discovered her love of higher education and all things international during her undergraduate studies at Missouri Southern State University, which led her to study abroad in Orléans, France. Now Ashton spends her evenings attempting new recipes, walking her two dogs, and reading supernatural fiction novels.

Elizabeth McDaniel, Senior Director of International Education and Enrollment Management at Texas Tech University, is responsible for all aspects of international education at Texas Tech including international recruitment, admissions, international student life, sponsored students, and Study Abroad. She has a co-presented workshops and sessions at NAFSA Region III Conferences, Texas State Meetings and a CTW workshop at the national conference. A member of the NAFSA Academy 2010 cohort, McDaniel has been in the international education field for 10 years, and has lived and traveled abroad extensively.
