Daniel Greenberg, Ph.D. is a serial social entrepreneur and sustainability advocate. He has founded founded three social ventures: Living Routes, which partnered with UMass Amherst to run study abroad programs based in ecovillages around the world; Earth Deeds, which offers online tools to “onset” CO2 emissions and support local solutions to global warming; and CAPE, which develops custom academic programs in ecovillages. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Minnesota, Greenberg has chaired multiple task forces for NAFSA and The Forum on Education Abroad, is a frequent presenter on the topics of sustainability in study abroad, experiential education, community development, and carbon consciousness, and currently serves as President of the Global Ecovillage Network.
