Melissa Torres

Melissa Torres is the Director of Educational Partnerships (North America) for Global Vision International. She works with high schools and colleges to create meaningful international service opportunities for their students in the 17 locations in which GVI operates around the world. Melissa has experience developing semester-length and short-term study abroad programs, establishing exchange programs, creating syllabi and designing internship programs. Prior to joining GVI, Melissa served as Vice President for Academic Programs at IES Abroad and Executive Director of the International Programs Office and Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She holds a BA in International Studies from Stonehill College and a Master’s degree in Global Education from The Ohio State University.
