I have been in the field of International Education for nearly ten years, most recently serving as the Program Manager for the International Student Immigration Team at The Ohio State University. I have also been actively involved in NAFSA at all levels - serving as the Membership Chair/Secretary, Ohio State Representative, and Chair of Region VI. I am currently serving on the Leadership Development Committee.

Marcia ELLEN. Taylor

Marcia Taylor is the director of international services at the University of South Florida. She is the Primary Designated Official for the USF System F-1 student program, the Responsible Officer for the J-1 exchange program and advises university faculty and staff on issues related to employment based non-immigrant visas and permanent residency. She came to the university in 2001. Taylor was a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana for two and a half years, where she taught secondary school mathematics. During her five years at Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana, she recruited international students in India, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and Venezuela. As a member-leader with NAFSA, Taylor has served as the Region VII representative to Academy II, the Region VII coach for Academy IV, member of the NAFSA SEVIS Policy and Practice Subcommittee, a member of the NAFSA International Student Subcommittee, Florida State Representative to NAFSA Region VII, and the Chair of Region VII.
