I earned my B.A. in International Studies/ Political Science with a concentration in East Asia from Southwestern University. Upon completion, I worked abroad at an international school in Mandalay, Myanmar for one year (2013/2014) before returning to central Texas. I began working in the Office of Intercultural Learning at Southwestern University in June of 2015. As the Intercultural Learning Coordinator, my primary tasks include providing support, advising, and services to our study abroad students, as well we the international students and scholars on campus.
I help advise and prepare students for their study abroad experience, as well as continue to give them support while abroad and upon return when applicable. I play a lead role in planning and implementing our international student programming at Southwestern.
