Andrew Johnson is the Vice President for North America at StudyPortals. He has worked in international education his whole career, teaching English overseas in Korea and with the Peace Corps in Moldova, and as an Assistant Director for an international Bachelor’s program at Northeastern University in Boston. He also worked for Kaplan Global Pathways, as a sales advisor for the pathway program to Northeastern. His work with StudyPortals seeks to educate international students about their options when choosing programs abroad and helps institutional partners to leverage online marketing to meet their enrollment goals.

Michael Shouldice

Michael Shouldice is a Senior Recruitment officer at Athabasca University. He moved to Alberta in 2006 from Toronto where he had helped to open the Commerce Career Development Centre at the University of Toronto. He holds a Master of Arts, a Bachelor of Commerce and Certificates in Adult Education and Fundraising Management. Michael has over 20 years experience in service delivery across industries including telecom, hospitality, private and higher education.

Michael pioneered the Contact Centre Modernization program at Athabasca University. His vision of utilizing technology to service the needs of students and to facilitate recruitment saw significant improvements in information centre performance as well as improved accessibility for online students. He also initiated the social media foot print of Athabasca University starting their Facebook and Twitter profiles. Currently Michael is working with a team to develop Athabasca University's student relatioship management systems.
