Leslie Erlenbaugh is the International Student Academic Advisor in Ball State University's office of Academic Engagement and Global Initiatives. . She enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures and languages. Catching the travel bug early on, she looked for many study abroad and overseas teaching opportunities. This led to participating in the JET Program where she spent three years working with students in an ESL capacity before moving back to pursue her MA in TESOL and Linguistics. Leslie has experience working with international admissions, recruitment, international student and scholar services, and currently serves as the International Student Academic Advisor where she works with the international student population helping with the academic transition from ESL classes to academic programs, as well as with dual degree seeking students, and focusing on student success, acculturation, and student retention.
