She currently directs the Office of Student Life at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar, focusing on undergraduate leadership development, intercultural education, and holistic well-being initiatives within a diverse branch campus setting.

Alicia Bates

Grand Canyon University

Alicia Bates is a doctoral student at Grand Canyon University studying Organizational Leadership. Through her work in Student Affairs, she has worked with student clubs, service learning, new student orientation, and first year programs. Alicia received her Master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Methodist University.
