Elena M. Gorozhankina is Vice-Rector Assistant for International Academic Mobility at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR). Her responsibilities include management of international student enrollment and implementation of PFUR internationalization strategy. Previously, she occupied leadership positions at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). She also worked as a senior administrator at Kemerovo State University and National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI” in Russia. Elena M. Gorozhankina holds a Ph.D. degree in Philology, a Specialist degree in English language and literature (1996) and a Specialist degree in Finance and Credit (2000) from Kemerovo State University.
