Libraries have moved beyond simply providing information access, and now position themselves as critical centers of learning, creativity, and community development. How can we as a field support and expand this change? The answer for three organizations – International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), Public Library Association (PLA), and the Technology & Social Change Group (TASCHA) - was the co-creation of a long-term strategic partnership. This partnership is working collectively to ensure libraries are aligned with community goals, are recognized as engines of development, and funded as key community assets.
