Recorded Program
The challenges facing today's libraries are real, complex, and varied. As such, they require thoughtful planning and
strategic implementation. In 2015, Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS) partnered with Library Strategies, the
consulting group within The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library. They developed a two-day workshop to teach their
Rapid Results Planning (RRP) program to 14 Georgia librarians who then conducted RRP strategic planning at
numerous pilot library systems across the state.
