Researchers have traditionally focused on the reading literacy and libraries. Presenters at this panel will explore the intersection between libraries and other forms of literacy. Lisa O’Connor will present her work on The Narrow Conception of Financial Literacy: Why It Must Change and Dominique Daniel will discuss her research on Developing Labor Literacy: The UAW Libraries and Workers’ Education in the 1930s and 1940s.
