LITA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee wants to continue the conversation started at our program at ALA Midwinter 2017 and to learn more about how we can develop inclusive programming and services for our membership and the greater ALA community. Through this program, we hope to identify ways to address problems that our members encounter in their interactions with LITA or ALA, additional ways that we can support the needs and interests of members, suggestions for attracting, retaining, and supporting a more diverse membership, and tips for building a truly inclusive community.
