In this interactive session, you’ll learn the answers to your key questions about how to tell your organization’s story including: how the questions in the organizational profile “set the stage”; how mission, vision and values illustrate who we are and how we behave; why core competencies matter; how the people described in the profile perform the work of the organization; and how results tell us how the story will continue. We’ll explore how you can define and improve your existing profile and application, or get started on your journey as a new Bronze Level applicant.

Casey Mackert is the Vice President of Development for the Baldrige Foundation, which ensures the long-term financial growth and viability of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, and supports organizational performance excellence in the United States and throughout the world. Casey was formerly the Executive Director of the Partnership for Excellence, TPE - Ohio, Indiana and West Virgninia's Baldrige performance excellence program. Casey has also served as the Director of Baldrige Services for Six Disciplines Consulting Services and has helped many organizations develop and deploy both strategic plans and the Baldrige Framework.

Casey has worked as a volunteer for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program for over 15 years, serving as an Alumni Examiner, Team Leader, Technical Editor, case study author and facilitator. She also sits on the Panel of Judges for the American Health Care Association, has served as a member of the Board of Trustees and Board of Judges for TPE, and led Six Disciplines Consulting Services, while the director, to the highest state-level Baldrige Award. Casey co-authored the book Organization Diagnosis, Design and Transformation, published by ASQ.

Alana M. Wolfe

Alana M. Wolfe serves as National Director of Performance Excellence for Sunrise Senior Living. She has more than 20 years of experience in the long-term care and post-acute care industry, beginning as a nurse aide in 1991. After completion of nursing school she gained experience in several capacities, some of which include Human Resources, Clinical Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor, Floor Administrator, and Program Administrator prior to assuming her role as a quality professional.. Special areas of focus and expertise include education related to and implementation of the Baldrige Framework as a business management model, leadership development, workforce development, clinical skills and competencies, and design of quantifiable tools for key performance metrics. Alana is an experienced Master Examiner for the AHCA/NCAL Quality Award Program, a 2014-2017 Member of the Quality Award Program Board of Overseers and is the current (2017) Chair of the Board of Overseers. She has served as a Baldrige National Examiner and participates as both an Examiner (2006-2016) and Board Member (2013-2016). of the Alabama Performance Excellence Award Program.
