The workforce is a problem that all within the long term industry face. How to cost effectively implement solutions, innovations, and advances to train, and retain staff with quality skills remains a challenge. The need for staff with advanced skills and commitment to the industry is a growing concern. We will explore ways that you can help create and offer solutions to some of these difficult challenges.

Jeanne A. Boschert, RN BS brings more than 25 years’ experience in both long term care and behavioral health.
Since 1999 Jeanne has been writing and developing programs and training materials for a variety of healthcare providers. She has authored a certified 40-hour behavioral health case management training program, a certified feeding assistant program, and a competency-based curriculum for both nurse assistants and licensed staff in long term care. Jeanne managed the CEU certification process within the clinical education department on content development and submission. She has presented on variety of topics from Leadership and Operational metrics to Clinical CEU content and front line staff care delivery.
Jeanne’s experience in healthcare provide her a unique opportunity in see healthcare from many perspectives. She has served as Staff nurse, Director of Nursing, Clinical Program Director, Regional Behavioral Nurse, Director of Clinical education as well as a functional behavioral specialist and CEO of an outpatient behavioral health center.
In 2010 AHCA selected Jeanne as the author of the fifth edition of How to Be a Nurse Assistant. Jeanne has continued to provide the latest clinical best practice programs to the Nurse aide training program and in October of this year launched the online blended nurse aide training program. This opportunity has allowed Jeanne to apply her knowledge of clinical education and her experience in healthcare within a complete program that includes textbook, workbook, and instructors’ manuals and now an innovative online platform.
Jeanne currently serves as the VP of Clinical Relations and Program Development for Academic Platforms based in Louisville, KY where she researches market based best practice needs and develops innovative solutions to meet the delivery gaps in the changing healthcare market. Jeanne also maintains a thriving consultant practice where she consults hospitals, assisted living and long term care agencies on executive, program and regulatory developments and systems.
