PC-4 Driving Success in Post-Acute Care Services -- It's All About Value

Tuesday, October 17
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Lagoon I&J
CE: Nurses: 1.0 | NAB: 1.0

Medicare innovation models and value-based purchasing programs are dramatically affecting post-acute providers, creating both threats and opportunities for SNF operators. Declining SNF utilization has created excess capacity in most markets, which allows payers, referral sources, and potential residents to be much more selective in choosing SNF partners. This session will guide participants in how to develop and demonstrate value propositions for local market stakeholders including hospitals, health plans, and consumers. Case studies will illustrate how PAC providers can combine local market intelligence with cost, quality, and outcome data to create value propositions that will drive referrals and facilitate long-term financial success.
