The 2017 AHCA/NCAL Professional Development “Rat Pack” has designed programming that addresses current operating and care challenges. The comprehensive agenda covers all the issues you need to understand to be successful in your community or organization. The programming offers practical, implementable, real-world solutions to the challenges you face every day.
Place your bets on a Full Convention Meeting Package. Included in the Full Meeting Package is a welcome reception; two general sessions; two-day Expo Hall access, including lunch; your choice of education sessions beginning with the Sunday Intensives and running through Wednesday afternoon; the Quality Award Ceremony; and the Hospitality Hops. Go all in and upgrade to a Premium Package for post-convention access to recorded sessions as well as the opportunity for additional CEUs.
Note that some convention events require a separate ticket to be added to your registration:
Continuing education approval has been requested for administrators from the National Association of Boards of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB). In addition, approval for quality practitioners (CPHQ) has been requested.
Nurses: The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Continuing Nurses Education is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
The final number of contact hours to be provided under ANCC criteria to be determined.
Continuing education approval for the Rehabilitation Therapy Program has been requested for occupational therapists and physical therapists.
Depending on the level of participation, attendees can earn up to 15.5 administrator CEUs by attending the main convention program. The main convention programming begins at 1:00 pm on Sunday, October 15, with the Intensive sessions and runs through Wednesday, October 18. Adding a separate ticketed event (NCAL Day, Rehabilitation Day, and the CAREs ® certification) to your registration will alter your CEU count.
