Owen Skinner, BVSc DiplECVS MRCVS - Clinical Instructor in Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the University of Missouri. Owen qualified as a veterinarian in 2010 from the University of Bristol and undertook an internship at Northwest Surgeons, a multidisciplinary referral practice in northwest England. Following this, he completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Florida. He returned to the University of Bristol for a residency in small animal surgery in 2012. Following completion of his residency in 2015, Owen returned to the University of Florida for a fellowship in surgical oncology. He sat and passed his ECVS board examinations in February 2016 and stayed on at UF for a second year of fellowship training, with the aim of completing ACVS requirements.
