Dr. Dusty Spencer, a native of California, graduated with her Bachelor’s in Biology from California State University, Chico, where she also worked on her Master’s Degree in the same field. She graduated with her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after attending Texas A & M for her clinical studies. Dr. Spencer spent five years in Las Vegas practicing small animal medicine and surgery as well as opening and managing a hospital, before returning to her alma mater as an Assistant Professor of Anatomy, teaching veterinary students for four years. Dr. Spencer then went on to complete two surgical internships before beginning her surgical residency at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Spencer’s surgical interests include orthopedics and maxillofacial reconstruction. Outside of work Dr. Spencer loves to run, a hobby that she shares with her husband and daughter. They share their lives with a hairless Sphynx cat and three furry family members.
