Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology
Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Simon recieved his Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Maryland and his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a residency in anesthesia and analgesia at the University of Pennsylvania and is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA), and serves on the ACVAA cut score panel. Dr. Simon received his MSc by Research from Ross University with emphasis in feline opioid-induced thermal antinociception. Currently, Dr. Simon is an assistant professor of Veterinary Anesthesiology at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and scholarly interests include feline analgesia, opioid analgesia, and opioid pharmacology.

Kelley Thieman Mankin DVM, MS, DACVS-SA works at Texas A&M University. She attended the University of Missouri for veterinary school, University of Tennessee for a rotating internship and University of Florida for residency. She has research interests in surgical site infections, transfusion medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
