Michele A. Steffey, DVM, Diplomate ACVS-SA is an Associate Professor of Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her DVM from the University of California-Davis, completed a 1-year general rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, and a 3-year residency in small animal surgery at Cornell University. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgery in 2004, and was inducted as an ACVS Founding Fellow of Surgical Oncology in 2011. Her clinical focus is in minimally invasive procedures, and her research program centers on the overlapping areas of tumor ablation, minimally invasive surgery, and traditional surgical oncology, with special interests in lymphatic metastsis and sentinel lymph node mapping.

Allison Zwingenberger, DVM, MAS, DACVR, DECVDI

Allison attended veterinary school at the University of Guelph in Canada, and did her radiology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She then moved to the University of California, Davis, in 2005 where she is an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging. Allison’s research interests include vascular CT imaging with particular emphasis on portosystemic shunts, as well as functional imaging using CT perfusion and PET. She is currently president of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) and the CT/MRI Society of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR). Allison’s service and outreach includes case-based teaching for all levels through her website (http://veterinaryradiology.net) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/veterinaryradiology.net/) with over 35,000 followers.
