Michele A. Steffey, DVM, Diplomate ACVS-SA is an Associate Professor of Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her DVM from the University of California-Davis, completed a 1-year general rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, and a 3-year residency in small animal surgery at Cornell University. She became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgery in 2004, and was inducted as an ACVS Founding Fellow of Surgical Oncology in 2011. Her clinical focus is in minimally invasive procedures, and her research program centers on the overlapping areas of tumor ablation, minimally invasive surgery, and traditional surgical oncology, with special interests in lymphatic metastsis and sentinel lymph node mapping.

Dr. Ameet Singh is an Associate Professor of Small Animal Surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada and then completed a rotating internship and surgical residency at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Canada. He has a particular clinical and research interest in minimally invasive surgery and surgical site infections.
