Graduated LSU SVM in 1990. Surgical internship at Chino Valley Equine and residency at UC Davis. PhD research on chondrocytes response to mechanical stimulation under Dr. Hari Reddi at the Ellison Orthopedic Research laboratory. Developed an ambulatory surgical servicce that covered numerous clinics in Northern and Southern California, Washington, Texas, Florida, and Kentucky. In 2007 became the Hospital Director and Chief Surgeon of the Dubai Equine Hospital.

Jarred M. Williams, DVM, DACVS-LA

University of Georgia

Jarred Williams is board certified in the American College of Veterinary Surgery and the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia. He completed his veterinary training at the University of Georgia, internship training at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center, and residency training at Ohio State University. His clinical interests are in emergeny medicine, particularly those presenting in an unstable condition. His research interests are colic and microcirculation.
