• Internship: North Carolina State University
• Residency: Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital, Ocala, FL

Research:
• Dr. Santschi is presently investigating the biomechanical causes of and treatments for subchondral bone lucencies of young horses

Clinical:
• Dr. Santschi’s primary interest is in orthopedic diseases of juvenile horses. This includes disorders such as osteochondrosis and subchondral bone cysts, septic arthritis, and angular and flexural limb deformities.
• Other areas of interest include performance horse injury and fracture repair.

Jarred M. Williams, DVM, DACVS-LA

University of Georgia

Jarred Williams is board certified in the American College of Veterinary Surgery and the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia. He completed his veterinary training at the University of Georgia, internship training at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center, and residency training at Ohio State University. His clinical interests are in emergeny medicine, particularly those presenting in an unstable condition. His research interests are colic and microcirculation.
