ISV/Integrated Payments Workshop
Point of sale and business management software with integrated payments acceptance is migrating rapidly across the merchant market including into small merchant segments. In addition to changing the nature of the point of sale, this phenomenon is impacting product and distribution strategies, creating new partners (and competitors) for traditional acquirers and ISO’s, and changing the nature of competition. It is not an overstatement to suggest that this phenomenon and its after-effects are among the central strategic issues for the acceptance business over the coming 5 – 7 years.
