Having previously worked as General Counsel for Utah-based Vision Bankcard for 10 years, Joe joined global acquirer Payvision in 2011 and leads the company's North America operations. His experience in the e-commerce sector, with emphasis on alternative payment methods and emerging markets, has been fundamental in leading the growth of Payvision's North American partner channel enabling worldwide merchant acquiring services.
Joe works closely with acquiring bank partners and ISOs/resellers to promote Payvision's "global domestic acquiring" platform. With the launch of Payvision's Acapture solution for alternative payments, Joe's focus is to bring world-class payments acceptance capabilities to a reseller channel with a diversity of merchant customers.

Joe holds a J.D. from Arizona State University College of Law and a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University. He enjoys being a husband and a father, playing golf, and competing vigorously in his fantasy baseball league.

Shane Fitzpatrick joined First Data in May 2015 and is head of the firm’s Global eCommerce Business Unit. The organization supports more than 6 million merchant clients, processes over 74 billion transactions and $1.7 trillion USD in payment volume annually. First Data is one of the largest eCommerce providers in the world with technology that powers thousands of banks, payment service providers and merchants.



Based in Dublin, Shane is a prominent eCommerce industry expert and a highly regarded leader with over 25 years’ experience in the payments industry. Prior to joining First Data, Shane served as Chairman of the Board and President / Managing Director at Chase Paymentech Europe Limited, a JP Morgan firm, for eight years. Previous to that he held a number of board and senior management positions with AOL Time Warner and the Aer Lingus Group.



An accountant and MBA graduate from Manchester University, UK, Shane is spearheading First Data’s commitment to helping clients and Joint Venture partners grow their business globally.
