Business Intelligence Manager

Jared Drieling, Business Intelligence Manager, is involved in a variety of strategic marketing initiatives, client project efforts and business development efforts across The Strawhecker Group's (TSG) Marketing and Strategic Research Division. Drieling is a seasoned business professional with 12 years of experience in market/competitive intelligence, product development/commercialization and marketing in the payments industry.
Prior to joining TSG, Drieling held market intelligence and product management positions during his ten years at First Data. While at First Data, he was part of the market and competitive intelligence team which directly supported major strategic initiatives such as partnership exploration, international enter and exit strategies and market development. Drieling was heavily involved in developing and launching First Data’s first international market and competitive intelligence team. Most recently, Drieling was the Product Manager for First Data’s SpendTrend macro-economic report. Outside of the being the writer and editor of SpendTrend, he also played a key role in raising the awareness and credibility of the SpendTrend brand through partnership development and media engagement.
Drieling completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska Omaha with a major in Journalism and a minor in Marketing.

Jacques Guérin (1960) is currently EVP, North America for Ingenico Group. Prior to that, he was EVP Mobile solutions and Smart terminals, in charge of all in-store and mobile solutions from design to delivery to the local sales teams. Jacques Guérin joined the Group in 2012 as EVP Chief Solutions Officer. Jacques has wide experience in strategic positioning and operational management in services. He began his career with Air France where he held various positions in Air Inter and Servair. In 1998, he joined Amaury as General Manager of the French newspaper Le Parisien before becoming the company’s CEO. He also acquired specific skills in the field of software development through the launch of tCORAIL-Software in 2008. Mr. Guérin holds degrees from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile.

Shane Fitzpatrick joined First Data in May 2015 and is head of the firmâ€™s Global eCommerce Business Unit. The organization supports more than 6 million merchant clients, processes over 74 billion transactions and $1.7 trillion USD in payment volume annually. First Data is one of the largest eCommerce providers in the world with technology that powers thousands of banks, payment service providers and merchants.
Based in Dublin, Shane is a prominent eCommerce industry expert and a highly regarded leader with over 25 yearsâ€™ experience in the payments industry. Prior to joining First Data, Shane served as Chairman of the Board and President / Managing Director at Chase Paymentech Europe Limited, a JP Morgan firm, for eight years. Previous to that he held a number of board and senior management positions with AOL Time Warner and the Aer Lingus Group.
An accountant and MBA graduate from Manchester University, UK, Shane is spearheading First Dataâ€™s commitment to helping clients and Joint Venture partners grow their business globally.

Senior Vice President, Head of Global Commerce

Amy Parsons serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Commerce, for Discover Financial Services. In this role, Ms. Parsons is responsible for leading strategic planning, payments innovation, and product deployment initiatives across Discover, as well as sales engagement and partnership development with Discover’s largest retail partners. Previously, she was based in London and led the Global Acceptance Business Development and Client Management teams. In this role, Ms. Parsons was responsible for expanding partnerships with leading global banks and acquirers, while helping to build the business to the 3rd largest global payments network.
Ms. Parsons has more than 25 years of experience in Payment Services with expertise in developing strategic business opportunities and partnerships. At Discover, she has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility across a variety of functional areas. For example, shortly after the acquisition of Diners Club International, Ms. Parsons led the team that created what is now a worldwide ATM network in more than 125 countries. Prior to that, she provided strategic insights for the Merchant Acquiring Program, and formed the initial Business Development team in 2006. She also served as a member of the PULSE acquisition team and led the corporate integration across Discover in 2005. Earlier in her tenure, she was instrumental in opening the Phoenix Network Services Center and developed the new hire training program for Merchant Servicing.
Prior to joining Discover, she worked at Vital Processing Services (currently TSYS Acquiring Solutions) providing strategic direction for new and existing products.
Ms. Parsons received a B.S. in Marketing from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. through the Executive Program at the W.P. Carey School of Business. She is a Board Member of Lambs Farm, a non-profit that provides residential and vocational services for adults with developmental disabilities, and serves on their Finance and Renovation committees.
