Bryan Penny

VP Vendor and Project Management

Bryan Penny is currently Vice President, Payment and New Markets for Nordstrom, supporting the all Payments functions companywide, as well as the launch of our credit card offerings in Puerto Rico and Canada. Prior to his current role, Bryan served as Vice President Vendor and Project Manager from 2012 – 2014 and Vice President, Accounting and Controller for the Bank from 2007 – 2012. Prior to joining Nordstrom, Bryan held various accounting and operations roles at Quark Software, First Data and Edison Brothers Stores.

Bryan graduated from the University of Illinois/Urbana with a BA in Economics and Accounting. Bryan also has a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University. Bryan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Missouri.

James Esposito

Jim Esposito is a payments professional with twenty plus years of operations, technology, partner management and merchant/e-commerce experience with multiple, billion dollar businesses. Jim is a battle tested executive leader with a level headed, business focused approach to deployment/operation of critical payment systems and high touch management of payment partnerships. As a strategic thinker, direct communicator and cross collaborator, Jim has built and led high performing teams through significant product launches, program transitions and security incidents.

Spanning both the technology and payments industries, Jim's career has included stops in high profile companies including Nortel Networks, Square and Subway Restaurants. Jim has a strong connection to the merchant community including a stint as a Board Member of the Merchant Advisory Group. Currently, Jim is the Vice President of Treasury, Payments and Risk Operations at Etsy and leads an organization that powers Etsy's global marketplace of 27+ million Buyers and 1.7 million Sellers.

Jim resides in New York City with his wife - Susana - and two daughters - Paola and Valentina.

John has worked at Walmart since 1998 holding various positions in Marketing, Financial Services and Treasury. In his current role, John is responsible for enabling payments in a seamless omnichannel environment while ensuring speed, reliability, security and savings to its customer.

John holds several leadership positions in the payment community including Chair of the Merchant Advisory Group and a Steering Committee member of the Federal Reserve Faster Payment Task Force. He attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, where he received his Bachelor’s degree.
