Cloud-Based Add-Ons: What They Mean for Your Dynamics NAV Environment

Room: Ryman Ballroom F

Format: Presentation
Level: Any

CPE: 1

Extending NAV's capabilities is a requirement for practically every company. Customizing the NAV database is discouraged these days with NAV Extensions emerging as the recommended method to help simplify NAV upgrades and enable users to keep pace with Microsoft’s annual release cadence. In this session we will run through essential considerations for extending NAV in the “new” architecture. We’ll review how cloud-based add-ons work and how they differ from the conventional design. Learn about how cloud-based add-ons can upgrade themselves, simplify anywhere/anytime access and integrate with NAV on premises, privately hosted or on Azure – just as well as if it used conventional development techniques.
