With the introduction of Cortana Intelligence in Dynamics NAV 2017, Microsoft has given you access to a powerful tool that can be used for inventory forecasting. The initial release of the forecasting model is limited but the framework is there to extend this functionality. Forecasting is only as good as the historical data so we will show what it takes to bring in historical data to facilitate the forecasting model. In addition, we will discuss what it takes to make this information available for a full procurement, inventory transfer, and production replenishment process.

Scott has been in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV business for over 20 years. Currently the Vice President for Dynamics NAV (Americas) at Eclipse, a DXC Technology Company, Scott is responsible for leading the North America Dynamics NAV team and setting the strategic direction for the Dynamics NAV business. Scott has been promoting Dynamics NAV since it became available in the US and is passionate about ensuring customer success.
Many of the projects Scott has worked with have been global in nature spanning multiple countries, managing and/or executing successful ERP projects in a wide range of organizations and industries such as Finance, Service, Retail, Manufacturing, Construction and Mining.
