Often thought of only during implementations and upgrades, RapidStart is a tool with many talents, and one that should be in your daily Dynamics NAV toolbox. We’ll walk through how to use this versatile tool, and demonstrate the many scenarios when you can call on RapidStart, including setting up new companies, updating master records, changing prices, and loading journal entries. We'll also cover troubleshooting and interpreting error messages, so you can do more on your own without having to call your partner.

My first introduction to NAV was when I joined Group O 7 years ago, starting as a business analyst. We had 3 instances of NAV5.0 with 1 instance having multiple companies. We upgraded to NAV2009 R2 around 2 years after I started there and most recently I managed a NAV Re-Implementation to NAV2016 and installation of Solochain.

In July, I started working at Lynco Products as the CIO. Our current large project is managing a re-implementation into NAV2017 and configuring Solochain as our WMS with the help of the Solochain consulting firm LIDD.
