It's the classic conundrum, the quintessential quarrel, the enduring evaluation - Dynamics NAV Relationship Management or Dynamics CRM? You'll hear from two NAVUG members, one who adores the CRM functionality inside Dynamics NAV, the other chose to go with Dynamics CRM, about their decisions, experiences, and advice for others faced with the same choice. Can we settle the score once and for all?

Anthony Darden

Director of IT

The first 18 years of my career was in application development (AcuCOBOL, RM-COBOL, PHP, Visual Basic, C#, jQuery) and system implementations. I designed Windows solutions for the foodservice industry, communicating with legacy Unix and AS/400 systems.

In December of 2012, I joined Caplugs during the early months of their NAV 3.7 to NAV 2009 R2 reimplementation. Since that time, we have upgraded to NAV 2013, 2015 and underway with 2017. Microsoft's innovation, ease of upgrading and incorporation of user group ideas has kept NAV fresh and exciting and I don't see that going away.

I look forward to sharing my experiences at the 2017 NAVUG Summit in Nashville, meeting others within this growing community, and leaving with valuable insights and fresh ideas for my company.
