You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land of Dynamics NAV Manufacturing. Everyone know BOMs and Production Orders, but what are Machine Centers and Work Centers, Absences, Capacity, Shop Calendars, Routing Links... the list goes on. In this session we will explore all of the obscure parts of Manufacturing you likely saw in the menu, but can keep you up late at night shrouded in mystery.
Sara Silver is the founder and president of Silverware Inc. Sara focuses her time consulting with clients and guiding her team of programmers, consultants and project managers as the solution architect behind every project. She is also a NAV-lover at heart and enjoys working on projects to help maximize the operational efficiency the software provides.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Northwestern, Sara scored her first job with a small marketing consulting firm specializing in quantitative research. Sara continued her career in analysis with a medical supply company. During that time, she began working with computers and PCs, laying the foundation for what would eventually lead to the launch of Silverware in 1988. Sara hired her first employee in 1993. By 1996, her husband Bob officially joined the firm as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. In spring 2015, Silverware acquired Gilbert & Associates and opened its office in Seattle. The Silverware team now spans multiple cities and serves clients across the U.S.
Outside of work, Sara can often be found in her sewing room quilting, outdoors hiking, spending time with friends and family, or chasing Bruce Springsteen around the country.
