NAVUG member Caplugs was ready to push the easy button and have their B2B site ready to go, but quickly found out that was not going to happen. They wanted, and needed, full creative freedom for their website to enable quick changes, and a disconnected site to enable easier integrations with mixed back-end systems. How did they pull it off yet integrate to Dynamics NAV for their product catalog and orders, and a standard payment processing solution? Watch the creative magic unfold and pick up some pointers for your own eCommerce needs.

Learning Objectives:

Anthony Darden

Director of IT

The first 18 years of my career was in application development (AcuCOBOL, RM-COBOL, PHP, Visual Basic, C#, jQuery) and system implementations. I designed Windows solutions for the foodservice industry, communicating with legacy Unix and AS/400 systems.

In December of 2012, I joined Caplugs during the early months of their NAV 3.7 to NAV 2009 R2 reimplementation. Since that time, we have upgraded to NAV 2013, 2015 and underway with 2017. Microsoft's innovation, ease of upgrading and incorporation of user group ideas has kept NAV fresh and exciting and I don't see that going away.

I look forward to sharing my experiences at the 2017 NAVUG Summit in Nashville, meeting others within this growing community, and leaving with valuable insights and fresh ideas for my company.
