Selecting a third-party add-on can be a daunting task, if not done correctly, can lead to years of frustration and higher costs associated with your operations and Dynamics NAV system. However, it's a process so infrequently done it's hard to know what to do. Hear from our panel of NAVUG members on the process they've followed and the lessons learned, to find the right balance and right solutions. The NAVUG Hands-on Labs are powered by Tribridge and Concerto.

Anthony Darden

Director of IT
Caplugs

The first 18 years of my career was in application development (AcuCOBOL, RM-COBOL, PHP, Visual Basic, C#, jQuery) and system implementations. I designed Windows solutions for the foodservice industry, communicating with legacy Unix and AS/400 systems.

In December of 2012, I joined Caplugs during the early months of their NAV 3.7 to NAV 2009 R2 reimplementation. Since that time, we have upgraded to NAV 2013, 2015 and underway with 2017. Microsoft's innovation, ease of upgrading and incorporation of user group ideas has kept NAV fresh and exciting and I don't see that going away.

I look forward to sharing my experiences at the 2017 NAVUG Summit in Nashville, meeting others within this growing community, and leaving with valuable insights and fresh ideas for my company.
