Preparation: Please bring a Windows PC to class for the Academy’s hands-on training environment from Visilearn called vConnect.
This full day course will focus on providing a broad spectrum of awareness for attending organizations considering a move to Dynamics 365 Enterprise for Operations.
The morning session will include an overview of the Dynamics 365, highlighting processes that exist in Dynamics GP (such as Procurement, Finance & Sales) along with features and functionality that that may be new to Dynamics GP customers. An Integrated Dynamics 365 Enterprise for Operations demonstration will highlight the benefits of an end-to-end integrated solution that utilizes modern approaches to provide a streamlined and unified business experience.
The afternoon will cover a technical overview of the product, and review the implementation and migration process with specific consideration to current Dynamics GP companies. Topics will include data migration, implementation toolsets, recommended approaches, expected timelines and licensing considerations for Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Enterprise implementations. This session is best suited for IT and Functional Leadership within an organization. Presenters will carry expertise and experience with both Dynamics 365 Enterprise for Operations & Dynamics GP.
Senior Solutions Architect
Jennifer Johnson is an experienced Sourcing and Supply Chain professional who has led several initiatives within Manufacturing and Supply Chain implementations of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Jennifer is a Principal Consultant & Senior Solutions Architect with Socius and carries three current Dynamics AX/365 MCTS certifications. Prior to joining Socius, Jennifer worked for ContechEngineered Solutions as a Purchasing Manager.In addition to her role of managing purchasing agents, she also led the implementation of many business practice and process improvements for her area including implemention GP Manufacturing and leading the Supply Chain areas to Dynamics AX.
Jennifer has extensive experience enabling acquisition integration, hub & spoke development, and inventory reduction while providing cross-functional leadership with sales, customer service and finance. Jennifer carries 20+ years experience in purchasing and tax accounting, financials, and inventory.
