John Lowther is a Developer, IT Professional, and a Dynamics Credentialed Professional for Microsoft Dynamics GP. He has worked with Microsoft Dynamics GP for over 15 years as a user and System Administrator. He has over 20 years of experience as a Database Administrator, and over 25 years of experience as a developer.

He is a multi-year recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award and one of the first three inaugural GPUG All-Stars.

He has spoken at multiple conferences and user group events. He serves the Microsoft Dynamics GP User Group (GPUG) in many ways, serving on both the Planning Committee and the Programming Committees, and leads two of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) DBA and Sys Admin. He has published several articles in the user group’s magazine, has multiple blog sites, and posts on several forums.

He also serves The Association of Dynamics Professionals as a Certification Exam Item Writer, and a member of the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS).
