Cross-User Group Sessions | BI & Reporting | Business Intelligence
Today, external data is more important than internal data. It is broader in scope, greater in volume, and captures trends and changes in behavior well in advance of internal data sets and sources. In short, it is more robust and more dynamic than internal data. We believe those who learn to harness the extraordinary power of public data will thrive, while businesses that do not will fail. With advances in deep web mining, machine learning, and AI technology, enterprises have an opportunity to convert external data into actionable intelligence like never before. The problem is learning to capture, synthesize, and capitalize on insights made available through the worldwide web in an efficient and cost-effective way.
We’re using external data to identify and mitigate catastrophic risk for our clients. We use PowerBI to synthesize our findings in clear, concise intelligence reports, empowering fast, data-driven risk prioritization and targeted threat mitigation. Come listen to Lumina Intelligence Analyst, Matt Davies, discuss how we’re presenting millions of URLs and data points drawn from across the web using PowerBI’s simple yet elegant interface. We’ll demo how our visualizations are crafted to find needles in haystacks, pinpointing trending threats with remarkable precision. PowerBI is an agile and rigorous tool for big data analytics – let’s talk about how it can enrich your business intelligence for targeted risk mitigation and sustained growth.
Note: PUG is the Power BI User Group within Dynamic Communities Inc. and these sessions will complement the other out of the box and various BI & Reporting sessions you may be attending at Summit Nashville. Learn more by going to http://www.pbiusergroup.com/
