Looking to take advantage of your CRM’s marketing abilities but don’t have the budget for marketing automation? Learn how to maximize your email marketing effectiveness using a traditional email marketing program and CRM’s inherent functionality. Principles of email marketing automation and the most recent consumer data will give you immediate takeaways to improve your email marketing performance. In addition, successful email campaigns will be examined to give insight into email tactics that work (and some that do not).

As the Director of Marketing at the Detroit Regional Chamber, Nick Mattar works with an emphasis on digital marketing. This includes the Chamber’s 500-page website, all social media accounts, video production and email marketing. With the world of digital marketing becoming larger each day, Mattar has spent the past five years focusing on a wide range of digital topics, from effective email marketing techniques and making the business case for Snapchat.

In addition to his work at the Chamber, Mattar is also a lecturer at Wayne State University’s Ilitch School of Business, teaching the school’s first digital marketing and analytics course. The course looks to familiarize students with digital marketing applications as they pertain to business.

Mattar has a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Bachelor of Science in English and Communications from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
