Having a successful launch of CRM is extremely important. However, this is just the beginning of a continuous process. To be successful one must understand the need for not only assessing your organization but establishing continuous opportunities for users to gain insight and learn to effectively utilize CRM. In this session, we will discuss techniques to engage users post go-live and improve user adoption through education and meaningful data.
Head - Global Sales & BD Team Learning and Effectiveness
Dr. Charlotte "Char" Lofton brings over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of change management, team development, cross team collaboration, business processes, knowledge management, adult learning and development. Her career expands across several industries including technology, healthcare, and higher education. Recently she served as the Functional CRM Program Manager at Harris Corporation overseeing the post implementation efforts and enhancements of MSD CRM corporate wide. Currently Dr. Char is the the Head - Global Sales & BD Team Learning and Effectiveness at Harris Corporation which also includes serving as a CRM advisor for the continued CRM related efforts. Along with CRM, learning and effectiveness, she works collaboaratively with cross segment representatives to not only understand business processes impacted by implementation of CRM but how to leverage best practices and effectively share information.
Along with her role at Harris Corporation, Dr. Char is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies where she has developed and facilitated several courses related to health care delivery, health informatics, culture, ethics & diversity, gender in the workplace and business law. Dedicated to continuous learning, Dr. Char has designed & facilitated numerous workplace courses in the areas of: Introduction to CRM, CRM for BD & Sales Managers, Introduction to Sharepoint and Knowledge Management, Lunch & Learn Educational series, Interviewing for Hiring Managers & Authorities, Performance Management, Project Managment overiew, Adult Leaning for Facilitators and Facilitation for Project Managers.
Dr. Char holds a Bachelor's of Science in Health Administration, a Master's of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Education in Human and Organizational Learning. Dr. Char enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons ages 15 and 6 along with her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and close friends. Dr. Char is committed to also sharing her talents and time through community service. She is the immediate past VP/Membership Services Chair of the Loudoun County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is the current VP/Membership Chair of the Loudoun County Virginia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
