PSS17 - Cobalt Web Elements & E-Commerce: An Integrated Portal Solution Presented by Cobalt

Thursday, October 12
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Cheekwood C - Magnolia Mezzanine Level M

Format: Partner Solutions Showcase
Level: Basic

Cobalt has developed a robust portal solution that leverages our web element technology allowing you to embed dynamic elements that push and pull data from Dynamics 365/CRM inside of your existing web site. The solution includes single sign-on and flexible configuration so that you can provide a seamless experience to your customers. The best news is that you've already used this system because it runs the Dynamics Communities' sites including the registration for Summit.

Michael Ochs

Director of Product Development
Cobalt

Michael is responsible for product development of Cobalt's Portal and Accounting solutions as well as industry specific solutions for non-profits and credentialing organizations.

Last year, Michael led a team at Cobalt to develop and release two free CRM add-ons: CRM Snapshot www.crmsnapshot.com and CRM Intelligent Query www.crmintelligentquery.com. Both add-ons were built on the principals of version support and solution centered development. Since their initial release the two solutions have been downloaded by more than 1900 users in over 50 countries.

In 2016, Michael led a team at eXtremeCRM, Warsaw, to build a CRM ChatBot during the one-day innovation challenge which resulted in the team winning 1st place in the competition.

I have been working with Microsoft CRM since CRM 1.2 and still have my 1.2 certifications in my office. I spent 10 years managing CRM implementations for Cobalt until 2013 when I shifted gears to focus more on product development and R&D related to Dynamics CRM/365. I am active in the Dynamics CRM/365 community as well as my local CRMUG chapters as well as the CRMUG Non-Profit & Association SIG as one of the SIG leaders.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Francisco.

In my spare time, when I'm not "playing" with Dynamics 365, I enjoy spending time with my wife (Courtney), daughters (Lauren and Emily) and beagle (Allie) in beautiful Old Town Alexandria, VA especially when we can take the top off the Jeep for a ride along the Potomac river into DC.
