Key Performance Indicators and Contractual Protections in Frequency Response Markets

Monday, September 11
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Location: Storage Central: Booth 1235

Frequency Response or synthetic inertia can be provided by energy storage systems to help maintain grid stability while the percentage of synchronous generation declines. RINA Consulting reviews performance metrics and contractual protections between developers and EPC contractors participating in markets for these services. Participants will learn how these were deployed in tenders for frequency response in the United Kingdom.
