His background includes experience at Independent Power Producers, Project Developers, Utility Consultants, and Research Laboratories giving him a broad view of the electric power sector. He has competency in the physical and protection & control design of substations and renewable plants and has executed multiple projects under EPC contracts. He has acted as project manager, design engineer, or consulting engineer on 50 substations, 100 miles of transmission line, 120MW of energy storage, 100MW of solar PV, 500MW of onshore and offshore wind, and 3GW of natural gas combined cycle. Project experience is primarily in the United States and Mexico applying codes from the NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and NETA.
