Outside the Box: Creative Thinking in the Classroom

Friday, November 10
9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
Location: Exhibit Hall Roundtable 4

Creative thinking and the ability to use creativity in problem solving are important 21st century skills; creativity is inextricably linked to learning for understanding and motivation. However, many teachers are uncertain of how to integrate creativity into the curriculum. The presenters focus on incorporating practical and fun creative strategies into content areas and share lesson ideas and resources. Participants learn how quickly and easily creativity can be infused into everyday lessons and activities.
