Much of the mathematics taught in schools, especially in the early years, relies on memorization skills as well as mathematical understanding. Twice exceptional students may dislike math or think they are not good at it, when in fact it is the memorization (and other) skills that are difficult for them. Come learn about a unique program that gives such students mathematical reasoning tasks that challenge their abilities in a small-group environment that can accommodate their diverse exceptionalities. Many tasks are presented in contexts that don’t seem like math to math-averse students.
